In the house where I grew up, my parents had a reproduction canvas on the wall called *Boys and Dogs in the Sun* by the Spanish surrealist artist, Joan Miro. The painting had all sorts of imperfect geometric shapes that formed each character. This picture sleeps in my memories, and decided to find me in my studio one day. I created these earrings in celebration of the lively spirit of Miro. I cut the discs out of a sheet of sterling silver and formed the remainder of the pieces with various gauges and textures of sterling silver wire.
